Manifestation of Psychologism in the Genre of Modern Kazakh Poetry

This article describes the manifestation of psychologism in modern Kazakh poetry. The genre of poetry is a unique form of literature, rich in lyricism, reflecting the author's inner emotions and emotional state. Today, analyzing literature in comparison with other fundamental sciences seems to further reveal the beauty of the art of speech.
For this reason, in our article, we attempted to explore the connection between psychological research and modern Kazakh poetry. We focused on the poetry of well-known contemporary lyric poets, Tynyshtykbek Abdikakimuly and Akberen Elgezek. While reading their poetry, we aimed to uncover its underlying meaning, the poet’s emotional state, psychological impact, feelings, regrets, sorrows, joys, and consolations.
Our study is guided by the concept of “Sensory Perception” by Aristotle, the world’s first teacher, and the ideas of Sigmund Freud, a scholar who contributed to the foundation of psychoanalysis. Additionally, we considered L.Ya. Ginzburg’s definition of “psychologism,” along with the philosophical insights of Schelling, A. Burov, and S.P. Belokurova. The studies of domestic scholars such as B. Maytanov, T. Rakhimzhanov, and A. Tanzharykova also influenced our research objectives.
Since revealing the manifestations of psychologism in modern Kazakh poetry is considered relevant, we have taken the works of T. Abdikakimov and A. Elgezek, prominent poets of contemporary Kazakh literature, as the primary focus of our study.
