Linguocultural Features of Linguistic Units Related to Horse Breeding in a Medieval Written Monument (Based on the inscriptions of the “Baytartul-Wazih” and the “Codex Cumanicus”)

In this article, based on linguistic data, the linguistic features of lexemes associated with atbegi and the formation of the traditional art of horse breeding are considered. The way of life of nomads is closely associated with horses, so it is natural that their language often contains linguistic units associated with horse riding. The study analyzes the features of the use of lexical units related to horse breeding. The traditional understanding of horse riding in the written monument «Baytartu'l-Vazih», as well as the linguocultural nature of words associated with horse riding in the monument «Codex Cumanicus» are disclosed in detail. The basis for the formation of the traditional art of horse breeding is determined by the language of written sources. A linguistic analysis of written monuments written in the medieval Kipchak languages is carried out. The article defines the meaning of lexemes related to the art of horse breeding and determines their connection with today's Kazakh language. Lexical analysis of the language of written monuments written in the Kipchak language is one of the most important issues determining the historical development of the Kazakh language today.
As a result of the study, it was found that the words and phrases related to the name found in the manuscripts are closely related to the Atbeg tradition of the Kazakh people, revealing their cultural and historical significance. The article systematically analyzes the role of traditional equestrian art as a cultural heritage, the special place of the horse in the life of the Kazakhs and its expression in the language from the point of view of linguoculturology. This study examines the relationship of lexical units used in the written monuments «Baitartul-Vazih» and «Codex Kumanikus» with the modern Kazakh language. By studying the linguistic features of the monument, the influence of ancient word usage on the modern language, the level of their preservation and place in the lexical system of the modern Kazakh language are analyzed. As a result of the study, the historical continuity and laws of language development are determined.
