Semanticization of Certain Lexical Units in the Nogai Language

The article examines the semantic nature of certain linguistic units in the related Nogai language, which belongs to the Kipchak branch. The primary focus of the study is to expand the scope of comparative linguistics, lexicology and semasiology in Turkic languages, exploring the general principles of meaning and the process of semanticization.
The comparative-historical analysis of related languages has become a relevant area in modern linguistics. This article reflects contemporary approaches, demonstrating the national identity and cumulative function of language in Turkic languages through shared linguistic units, idiomatic expressions and the paremiological corpus.
The article conducts a semantic analysis of the words «nizam», «kazyna», «nyshan», «seyir», «tatym» and «tor» selected from the explanatory dictionary of the Nogai language. Based on Kazakh and Nogai linguistic data, the study identifies processes of semantic narrowing, broadening, renewal, fading and various connotative nuances of common linguistic units. The exploration of the Nogai language, which is among the Turkic languages under the threat of extinction and its inclusion in the field of semasiology, which requires further scientific elaboration, underline the academic relevance of the article.
The research enabled the study of the potential for forming semantic structures of linguistic units and the modification of the contextual meanings of certain words. Comparative semantic analysis facilitated the enumeration of all components of meaning in a static state. This approach demonstrated significant theoretical and practical value and is certain to be beneficial for future researchers.
