In the context of modernizing the education system, it is pertinent for the field of education to seek out progressive educational technologies and implement them into the educational process. From this perspective, in our study, the results of experimental work by Kazakh scientists related to enhancing plant drought resistance through microorganisms are included in the curriculum of the university subject “Microbiology and Virology”.
According to official sources, 44% of the land area of the Republic of Kazakhstan consists of deserts, and an additional 14% comprises semi-desert territories. This geographic reality forms a strong basis for educating future specialists on strategies to address current environmental challenges. Practical activities in higher education are conducted in conjunction with experimental research on the testing, development, and substantiation of new pedagogical ideas.
This article presents methods for enhancing plant drought resistance using microorganisms and a teaching methodology for students in the university's biological education program using mobile technologies to support the learning process.
