Methods of Formation of Functional Literacy of Future Physics Teachers by Performing Practical Tasks

The 21st century, as the age of globalization, places new demands on future physics teachers. One of the main tasks of implementing employers' requirements is the formation of subject competencies of physics teachers working in the general secondary education system. The complex socio-economic changes taking place in the world today, the rapid pace of information flows require the introduction of new guidelines and approaches to the formation of competitive modern future specialists. The article is based on the development of functional literacy of future physics teachers. A survey of secondary school teachers is provided. In addition, the tasks of improving the quality of students' knowledge by completing tasks on functional literacy and its results are compared in the diagram. The given functional literacy tables are constructed in accordance with the assessment criteria, and the formative assessment is set in accordance with the descriptors. An extensive analysis of the concept of functional literacy has been carried out. The relevance and importance of the concept of functional literacy in the modern education system is clearly expressed. In the era of competition with knowledge, ways of compiling functional literacy assignments in physics are described in order to be on par with countries with developed education.
